The following progress has been made to outstanding maintenance issues as of the 5 August 2014.
1. Bougainville shrubs have been removed from outer fence line behind Villa 4
2. Large tree growing against fence behind Villa 4 has been removed, Yorkeys Tree loppers will be asked to stump grind the stump when they are next here.
3. Singapore daisies behind Villa 4 and 5 has been poisoned
4. Guava tree near bridge has been cut right back
5. Excess growth at bottom of cane palms around the small lake has been removed
6. Dead branches on trees in the garden on the Eastern side of the small lake have been trimmed
7. Lilies in front of the gate control box have removed
8. Water pump fittings for the barramundi lake waterfall has been serviced, a replacement part has been ordered to complete the job

REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE REPORT – May 2014
1. 7 Cuban Palms removed from the back of Villas along the Western Boundary Fence that were planted over the sewerage pipes.
2. Garden light in the pool area repaired by Rainforest Electrical.
3. Green waste pushed to the back of dump to allow more waste to be deposited.
4. Street lights between Villas 103 and 102 and outside Villa 92 have been repaired by Richardson’s Electrical.
5. Gardens at the front of the main gate have been re-mulched and tidied up also a retaining wall was constructed on the exit gate garden.
6. Salvia weed has been poisoned around the lake circumference.
7. Leak in water mains at Villa 99 repaired by Palm Cove Plumbing
8. Rusting of recreational area roof support posts below ground repaired
9. Roundabout opposite Villa 44 and the surrounds of the barramundi pond cleaned up and new shrubs and plants added.
10. Trees blown over by cyclone behind Villas 107 and 105 removed by Yorkeys Knob tree loppers
11. A Kamerunga Villas sign has been installed in front of the in-gate garden to enable to identify the Villas from Lake placid Rd. Recently an ambulance had difficulty finding the entrance
12. Water main leak outside Villa 86 repaired by Palm Cove Plumbers
REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE REPORT – 26 February 2014
- Water Main leak outside Villa 128 was repaired by Palm Cove Plumbing.
- Palm Cove Plumbing investigated our Water Main Isolation Valves and will soon commence repair and maintenance of defective valves.
- Caretaker has contacted the Contractor regarding the Green Waste Dump and advised it will be emptied/pushed up shortly.
- Due complaints from residents the Caretaker has been requested to purchase rat baits and place them around the waste dump.
- Bill Svendsen has marked trees and limbs for removal, Chairman will arrange for the tree lopper to remove them, tree lopper has been advised of trees to be lopped. Yorkeys Knob ree Loppers will be on site on Wednesday the 26th of February
- Broken concrete storm water pipe at the side of the pool shed has been repaired by Palm Cove Plumbing.
- Faulty gate control electronics caused exit gate to remain open, cabinet electric fan was unserviceable overheating the control circuitry to malfunction.
- Cairns Regional Council has been notified about the large and potentially dangerous trees along the Lake Placid Rd boundary, Chairman will be advised of the result of the survey that will be carried out by the Council Tree Management Department. (Council Reference No 223681 refers)
- There is a water leak in the mains pipe at Villa 99 Caretaker rang Palm Cove plumbing to repair leak ASAP.
10. 3 serious cracks in the road outside Villa 86 require urgent attention
